West Lafayette – The Fresno State Bulldogs defeated the Purdue Boilermakers 39-35 in their season opener on September 2, 2023, at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana. Saturday marked the 100th anniversary of Ross-Ade and featured the new, updated digs for the Boilers. It also marked the first game for new head coach Ryan Walters.
