The Fever Win a close hard-fought game against the Chicago Sky 89-87. They were down by 15 at the start of the second half but went on a 10-0 run to start the climb back for the victory. NaLyssa Smith had another career day while leading the charge scoring 26 points with 11 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell scored 13 points with nine assists. Emma Cannon scored 11 points and Lexie Hull finished with a new career high of 10 points.
Kahleah Cooper also had a career day scoring 28 points for the Sky. Cortney Vandersloot scored 13 points and had 7 assists. Emma Meesseman had 12 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assist and 3 blocked shots. Candace Parker did not play due to a knee injury.
The hard-fought victory was needed by the Fever as they continue to make strides under their intern coach Carlos Knox. Indiana will be on the road for the next four games starting with the Dallas Wings on Thursday evening.
