The Fishers Freight won their first game at the Fishers Event Center on Friday night in front of 5,679 fans. The freight defeated the Tulsa Oilers 40-29 to get their second win of the year. They were led by QB Jiya Wright who went to college at Louisiana Monroe. He had 127 yards passing and two touchdowns. The game was fun and exciting to watch and was a hit for the Indy area. There were acrobatic catches, exciting hits along the sideline and reminded me of the street football played in the summer when I grew up as a child, look out for the cars, hurry up for the next play and if you get too close to the curb get ready for the sideline pop. Fans went home excited to return for the next game. The players and coaches looked excited as the interacted with the fans throughout the game.
