One of the most thrilling moments of the evening came from Creslyn Brose, who achieved a perfect 10 on her floor routine. This achievement ignited the crowd and underscored the Wildcats’ exceptional performance in that event. The floor exercise, in general, was a standout for Kentucky, with consistently high scores contributing to their overall victory. Hailey Davis also had a very high score on the floor with a 9.975. The wildcats achieved a 49.725, which was the programs third highest floor score in history.
The Wildcats’ success wasn’t limited to the floor. Their performance on the beam was also remarkable, tying the program’s third-best score in that event. Isabella Magnelli delivered a near-perfect routine, scoring a 9.975. The team also tied the program’s ninth highest vault score. Skylar Killough-Wilhelm had an outstanding all around performance, and also won the bars event. The consistent high scoring from the Kentucky team, made it very hard for the Arkansas team to keep up.
Arkansas put forth a strong effort, but Kentucky’s momentum and precision proved to be decisive. While Arkansas showcased impressive routines, they were ultimately unable to match the Wildcats’ overall consistency and peak performances. The Razorbacks had many very good individual performances, but the Kentucky team preformed at a very high level across all of the events.
