Fishers, IND – The Indy Ignite continued their winning streak on Thursday night with a 3-0 sweep of the Grand Rapids Rise at the Fishers Event Center. The Ignite, now 2-0 on the season, showcased strong offensive performances, led by Leketor Member-Meneh’s 17 kills and two service aces. Outside hitter Nina Cajic also contributed significantly with 16 kills, two aces, and a block.
The match saw some tight moments, particularly in the second set where the Ignite narrowly edged out the Rise 28-26. However, the home team maintained control throughout, demonstrating impressive teamwork and a strong defensive presence. The enthusiastic crowd at the Fishers Event Center provided a lively atmosphere, cheering on the Ignite to victory.
This win further solidifies the Ignite’s position as a contender in the Pro Volleyball Federation. With their continued strong play and the support of their home crowd, the team looks poised for a successful season. This Ignite hit the road for their first away match on Saturday night against Columbus.
