On Sunday, December 15, 2024, the University of Kentucky Gymnastics team hosted its annual Blue White meet at the newly renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky. The event featured the Wildcats in a spirited intrasquad competition, showcasing their talent and athleticism in front of their home crowd.
The meet also marked a memorable moment off the mat after the competition, as 5th-year senior Isabella Magnelli, surrounded by teammates, coaches, and fans, was proposed to with the Thee Sacred Souls tune “Can I Call You Rose?” playing over the PA system.
The event celebrated Kentucky Gymnastics in its iconic venue, recently renovated to enhance the fan experience. With an exciting season ahead, the Wildcats look ready to take on the challenges of the upcoming competition. Their home season will kick off on January 17 as they face Alabama with a 7 pm start time.
