The Mad Ants and Iowa Wolves returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse Monday night, in a rematch of Friday afternoon’s game, which saw the Wolves defeating the Mad Ants who were looking to hand Iowa their first loss of the season.
The Mad Ants did just that.
After having six players hit double digits, shades of Friday could be seen, as the Mad Ants took control of the game late in the second quarter creating a ten point spread.
The Mad Ants would maintain control of the game throughout the night, causing the Wolves to fall behind by 23 points in the second half.
The Wolves did not take that difference laying down, though, as they brought the game back to within two points late in the final quarter. Indiana would then pull out all the stops with a 6-0 run putting the game out of reach, with a final score 112-103.
With a win in their pocket, the Mad Ants are on their way to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to play the Sioux Falls Skyforce for two games.
