Aces’ Wilson breaks WNBA single game scoring record as Fever fall to Vegas at home

Wednesday night the Indiana Fever took on the Las Vegas Aces. The opening minutes of the game saw the Fever taking a 7-0 running lead, but was answered by a 6-0 run by the Aces.  The two teams would come to a 15-15 draw with just two minutes left in the first quarter.

As the first half came to a close, the Aces would create a 9 point spread that would be the downfall of the Fever, both teams playing a hard game with the Fever trying hard to close the gap.

However the Aces would continue to play aggressively which led the Aces’ A’ja Willson to break the single season point record, making it the final in the coffin for the Fever as the final score was 75-86.

The Fever have another chance to break the now 14 game losing streak to Vegas on Friday September 13 when they face the Aces at home once again.
