Ball State had a record-setting day as they faced Central Michigan and Illinois State in Sunday’s tri-meet at Worthen Arena. With a short turnaround from their meet at East Michigan on Friday, the team set a new program team record on beam with a score of 49.150. Freshman Grace Sumner led the way on beam with 9.900, her career-best. Junior Alivia Ostendorf also had a career-best score of 9.800 on beam. Megan Teter had the best score on the uneven bars with a 9.800. Freshman Erica Cooper had a career-best on her floor routine with a 9.850. The Cardinals will be back in action on Friday, February 4th, traveling to Utah State for a 9 p.m. tri-meet.
