Indiana Pacers Head Coach Nate McMillan talks about their 1st round pick and 18th overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft in which they selected Boga Bitadze.
Boga Bitadze is a 19 year old 7’2″ center from the country of Georgia. He has played overseas in a few different pro leagues. Boga was the 2018-19 Adriatic League MVP, as well as “Best Young Player”.
Pacers General Manager Kevin Pritchard said last night in the press conference ” The league he played in is a grown man’s league, and his numbers are up there with Docic when he played in that league”.
Pritchard also stated that Boga was in their top 10 on the Pacers “big board” and were pleasantly surprised when he dropped to them at the 18th pick.
